The authors of this book explore restitution from different angles —political and formal— as well as scales of analysis -—micro, meso and macro—- across constrasting ethnographic fields (in Europe and Latin America). The different chapters, and the postface, provide several critical, epistemological and ethical lessons that can enrich antropology in general and enlighten any approach which place children at the center due to their representing an exrmplary case of a subordinaed population.
